Our program in practice
What does feedback that truly builds trust and engagement in a team look like?
What happens when, instead of focusing on mistakes, we start talking about development?
Why is the manager's mindset crucial in 1:1 conversations?
We work with our own original programs and tailor them to each client’s context. Below you can see an example of how we delivered one of our programs focused on building a feedback culture.

An example of our feedback culture program
How we built feedback culture among 160 managers
In one of our programs, we worked with a large group – 160 managers – on how to introduce feedback into the daily work of teams, conduct direct conversations with greater confidence, and on how to make feedback a supportive tool, rather than a stressful obligation.
The starting point was frustration: managers felt that even when feedback occurred, it was often not implemented and did not lead to real change. The organizational culture also suffered from difficulty in following through – conversations were swept under the rug or postponed. Therefore, in addition to practical tools, a crucial part of the program was working on the leader's spheres of influence: what can I realistically do, what do I have influence over, and what requires a broader change in the organizational culture. We named the program "From feedback to change."
The process included online preparation, a full-day workshop, practice in groups, and implementation tasks in real managerial situations. During the finale the participants practiced 1:1 conversations in the "Feedback Lab," where everyone could check how their conversation style was developing and how feedback can truly build trust and engagement.

E-learning modules
Initially, each participant went through short e-learning modules from our online "Feedback Academy." course This simple exercise helped to level the playing field in terms of knowledge, and a preliminary test showed which areas required the most support.

Full-day onsite workshop
The next step was an intensive, full-day onsite workshop.
We focused on the key aspects of building a feedback culture:
-
the role of the leader's mindset in giving feedback and feedforward and in shaping team engagement,
-
typical barriers to giving and receiving feedback and ways to overcome them,
-
distinguishing between feedback, corrective conversations, and developmental conversations using coaching elements,
-
the importance of appreciation and differences in thinking styles that affect the approach to feedback,
-
practical models supporting clear and constructive conversations (e.g., FUKO),
-
practicing strengthening and weakening messages in daily interactions.
Feedback Lab
After the workshop, participants continued learning in practice – as part of the "Feedback Lab" they worked in coaching triads.
Each manager had the opportunity to:
-
practice giving and receiving feedback based on real-life situations,
-
observe different conversation styles and their impact on the recipient,
-
receive immediate feedback from colleagues and the trainer,
-
build confidence in conducting challenging conversations in a safe environment.
Implementation tasks
Finally, each participant received implementation tasks that allowed them to immediately transfer new skills to their daily work:
-
conducting a 1:1 meeting according to a prepared scenario,
-
collecting written developmental feedback from colleagues,
-
testing selected tools (e.g., Moving Motivators, Delegation Poker) and discussing experiences in mentoring pairs.
Thanks to this, the process did not end in the training room – managers gradually introduced feedback as a natural element of the work culture.
