Our program in practice

What changes when a future leader sees themselves through the eyes of others for the first time – and understands how their style of operation affects the team and decisions?

How leadership changes when, instead of discussing it on slides, participants actually experience it – in dynamic, unpredictable situations where courage, reflexes and trust count

What happens when development doesn't end after the workshop, but turns into a process – supported by mentoring, a platform, and daily reflection that builds true leadership maturity step by step?

We work based on our own original programs and adapt them to the client's specific needs. Below, you can see an example of our program's implementation in the area of leadership.

An example of our leadership program

DISCOVER YOUR INNER LEADER program - HiPo development in the banking industry

An organization in the financial sector faced a challenge: how to prepare its high potential employees to take on managerial roles, not through theory, but through experience, reflection, and strengthening self-awareness.

This is how the three-month DISCOVER YOUR INNER LEADER program was created, with the primary goal of increasing readiness to lead within an organization. The program focused on building leadership awareness, and its key modules included: The Leader's Journey – My Leadership DNA, Resilience, and Leadership in Action (ODT). We connected everything through the BLACKBIRD PROMOTE platform, where participants met between sessions, shared reflections, and completed implementation tasks.

Read how we worked at each stage:

01

A Leader's Journey - My Leadership DNA

The program began with a workshop dedicated to discovering leadership identity and understanding what leadership means today. Participants created a group contract, worked in pairs on their own "leadership map," analyzed beliefs about the leadership role, and discussed the concept of shared leadership in a VUCA/BANI world. This was a moment where each participant saw how they perceived their role and how the organization viewed it—and where these two images intersected.

02

03

Understanding yourself and others – based on the FRIS® test

The second phase of the program focused on understanding thinking and acting styles and was based on the results of an individual FRIS® assessment, which each participant completed prior to the workshop. Participants learned about their FRIS profiles, analyzed how these differences impact their communication, collaboration, and decision-making, discovered their strengths and the so-called "shadow styles" that can cause misunderstandings, and practiced conscious influence and flexible communication in diverse teams. By working together using the FRIS® methodology, the team gained a common language for discussing differences, which translated into greater collaboration effectiveness and a better understanding of each other.

Resilience

In the third module, participants worked with the SHIELD model, learning the six pillars of mental resilience. Through individual assessment, reflection, and peer coaching, they discovered how they cope with pressure, how they recover, and how they can support team resilience. This was a practical lesson that a leader's strength lies not in the absence of weaknesses, but in the ability to recover and adapt.

04

Leadership in Action (ODT)

The program culminated in a day of outdoor training—Leadership in Action. During four dynamic activities, participants had the opportunity to step into the shoes of a leader and team member, operating in changing conditions, under time pressure, and without access to everyday communication tools. This day demonstrated how leadership theory translates into real-world behavior, and for many participants, it became a turning point in their understanding of their own influence.

05

Growth Mindset and Program Completion

The final module focused on a leader's growth mindset. Participants examined their own journey, analyzed breakthrough moments from ODT, and created a plan for further development in the spirit of a growth mindset. As part of the program, we also launched internal mentoring, preparing mentors from within the organization to support participants after the workshop series.

Effect?

After three months, participants emerged from the program with greater self-awareness, concrete tools, and a new perspective on their roles. The organization gained a group of informed, promotion-ready future managers, and the program became a benchmark for subsequent development initiatives within the company.

Read the opinion of one of the participants of our program:

This program was the first opportunity for me to truly stop and see if I was ready for a leadership role—not just technically, but also mentally. Most importantly, I discovered how much the way I think and act impacts others. The ODT day opened my eyes to how I actually function under pressure.
I left the program with much greater confidence, but also with humility—with the sense that leadership is a process, not a position. It was a truly transformative adventure and the first program that gave me not only knowledge but also very specific experiences that will last a long time.
